Sir Bradley Wiggins has accomplished all manner of greatness during his outstanding career. Recently though, following his withdrawal from the 2013 Giro and subsequent incidents, he’s (perhaps unfairly) started to gain a reputation for crashing and questions about his bike handling skills have been asked.
This weekend Brad unexpectedly starts at The Tour of Flanders, a race well known for poor road surfaces and requiring excellent bike handling skills. Many riders practice cyclo-cross to prepare for such an event. We recently discovered this gem from 2002 when Brad was with Francaise Des Jeux and indeed practising his cyclo-cross skills, and have to ask the question- can Brad stay on his bike this weekend?
At the Tour of Britain last year, there was another rumoured crash involving Bradley. The TV cameras missed, but fortunately someone at the scene captured it.
The great thing about Brad though, is he can remain super-cool, even when losing his cool.
